REGISTRATION TIMELINE FOR THE CLASS OF 2038
(KINDERGARTEN – FALL 2025)

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED – PLEASE READ BELOW
 

  • Monday, December 2, 2024 – Friday, May 2, 2025 – Formal registration process.
  • Friday,  May 9, 2025: Deadline to Submit School Choice Form
  • Friday,  May 9, 2025: Formal Registration Process ends and re-opens on June 16, 2024.
  • Monday, May 12 to Thursday, May 29, 2025: Lotteries and assignment process
  • Friday, May 30, 2025: Receive School Assignment Email
  • Friday, June 6, 2025: Deadline to inform the Department of Student Registration if your child will no longer be attending Kindergarten at Framingham Public Schools
  • Monday, June 9, 2025: Kindergarten Orientation
  • Monday, June 16, 2025: The second period for registering new kindergartners is reopening. School assignments are now based on availability. You can book your online registration appointment starting June 2, 2025.

REGISTRATION PROCESS 

STEP 1

SCHEDULE YOUR PHONE APPOINTMENT
Please allow enough time to gather all the required documents for registration (listed below) before scheduling your appointment. 

 

  • Schedule your phone appointment using our online scheduler system. (Link at the end of this page – available after 06/02/2025)
     
  • Please choose the correct registration category based on the student's grade/age.
     
  • After scheduling your phone appointment, you will receive a text message and email with the link to our Registration Gateway Portal, where you can complete pre-registration and upload the required documents. 

STEP 2

COMPLETE THE ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION APPLICATION AND UPLOAD THE DOCUMENTS
 

 

  •  Log in if you already have an account, or create one using a valid email address and password. Once the account is created, you will enter your contact information and add any number of students to it.
     
  • You can upload the required documents for registration on this platform, or you can save your work and log back in to upload the documents later.

STEP 3

PHONE CALL APPOINTMENT
WITH GUARDIAN(S)
 

 

  • At the time chosen (STEP 1), you will receive a phone call from one of our registrars to discuss the next steps necessary to complete your child's registration.
     
  • We will verify the documents submitted electronically during the phone appointment. 
     
  • The student enrollment is incomplete until the Department of Student Registration staff has validated all documents required to complete registration.
     
  • We will discuss the school assignment, bus transportation, etc.
