Walsh students are invited to join the Walsh chapter of BEST BUDDIES! Best Buddies empowers all youth to become advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We organize monthly events (on the weekend) outside of school that welcome EVERYONE (those with and without special needs) to participate and have some fun!
Some things we have done in the past include: Hanson’s Haunted Hayride, mini golf, movies, bowling, and more! We also have monthly Buddy Lunches in the library.
For more information, email Otto Johnson, the school psychologist who is one of the chapter advisors, at ojohnson@framingham.k12.ma.us. Students may use the following link to apply online: https://www.
