Transportation Update - 9/6/22
In the weeks leading up to the school start, Interim Director of Transportation, Angela Furtado, prepared bus routes, sent bus information, reviewed the Change Request and Opt-out Forms to de-assign and re-assign students to buses. This is an ongoing effort that continues as we approach the 2nd week of school. If a family receives a bus assignment, but does not need the seat, we kindly ask them to complete the Opt-Out Form so that new seat assignments can be created for families who need transportation.
The Edulong Parent Portal Lite application has had some challenges. It was not live at the start of school, but is slowly beginning to work for various buses. The guidance that has helped some is to uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and then use the bus code provided in the bus assignment email as the District Code. We are working on receiving specific guidance from the app developer to assist with this. We appreciate patience and grace from families who are looking to utilize the bus tracker app.
