In the spring of 2023, art teachers Jillian Marcelin and Dania Caballero-Dillon hosted muralist David Fichter to complete the Artist in Residence Program. The theme of the mural, Celebrating Diversity, highlights the diverse Barbieri community. This is the culmination of a project that was underway when COVID hit. It's three years later, and now the Barbieri community gets to see the project come to fruition! The unveiling was held on April 25th!
