About the Griffin
The Griffin Museum of Photography is a nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the art of photography. Through their many exhibitions, programs and lectures, they strive to encourage a broader understanding and appreciation of the visual, emotional and social impact of photographic art.
FHS Students Showcase Photography in a Special Exhibit
Congratulations to several FHS Students whose photographs are on display in The Griffin Museum Secondary School Photography Exhibit taking place in the Carney Gallery in the Regis College Fine Arts Center.
The Gallery dates are Sunday January 6th - January 18th and the Carney Gallery hours are:
- Monday - Friday: 10am - 4pm
- Saturday (1/12) - Sunday (1/13): 2pm - 4pm
Five students from Framingham High School currently have their work on display alongside photographs from their peers at Winchester, Weston, Concord-Carlisle, Lexington, Arlington, Lincoln-Sudbury, Cambridge Public Schools, and several independent schools.
This is the first time that The Griffin Museum of Photography is putting together an exhibition to celebrate the work being created across local high schools. Nineteen schools were invited to participate. Each school's photography instructor was asked to select 5 images to represent their program. All of those images were selected for display.
