Framingham Public Schools to be Recognized at SchoolWorks’ 25th Anniversary Celebration

June 20, 2023 (Framingham, MA) - Dr. Robert Tremblay, Superintendent of Framingham Public Schools, is proud to announce that Framingham Public Schools will be recognized at SchoolWorks’ 25th Anniversary Celebration: “Here’s To The Changemakers” on July 11, 2023.

SchoolWorks is a Massachusetts-based education consulting company that provides a broad range of services to educators, administrators, institutions, and governing bodies in support of K-12 education improvement. SchoolWorks helps schools and districts to identify strengths and weaknesses, develop and implement meaningful and achievable action plans, and monitor ongoing progress within educational institutions and agencies.

SchoolWorks’ partnership with Framingham Public Schools has been focused on Instructional Supports, as the company provides rubrics and tools utilized by FPS Staff and professional development for administrators. SchoolWorks also facilitates Targeted Site Visits (TSVs) in select Framingham Public Schools each year. This process, utilized by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, helps to provide Framingham district and school leaders with key insights for ongoing improvement planning.

At the upcoming event, Framingham Public Schools will be recognized by SchoolWorks as one of five schools, districts, and education agencies that have contributed to improved outcomes for students through their ongoing work.

“It has been our honor to work with Framingham Public Schools for the past five years and to get to know the talented administrators and educators who are making a difference for Framingham’s students, schools, and communities every day,” said Kim Perron, president and owner of SchoolWorks. “It is our privilege to serve as a partner in the district’s ongoing work, and we look forward to commemorating FPS for its dedication to improving outcomes for kids. We are continually inspired by the changemakers in Framingham.”

Framingham Public Schools is proud to be considered a changemaker and representatives are honored to attend this special event in recognition of effort and dedication to improving outcomes for all students.

“To be considered a changemaker organization by a company that supports educational organizations across the nation is a humbling and exciting recognition,” said Amy Bright,  Assistant Superintendent of PreK-12 Education. “The partnership we have established with SchoolWorks to improve instructional support for staff and create intentionality in our practices to ensure all students have equitable access to high quality instruction has served at the core of the shifts in our organization. Framingham Public Schools is honored to be recognized for its commitment to the students we serve.”
