Framingham Public Schools Opens Online Pre-Registration for the Class of 2034

Parents / Guardians can begin the registration process for the incoming Kindergarteners for the 2021-2022 school year.

November 3, 2020 (Framingham, MA) - Families who have a child or children that will be five years old by August 31, 2021 are invited to pre-register their incoming Kindergarteners online. The Parent Information Center (PIC), located at 31 Flagg Drive – Door # 4A, has just opened the process that all families must go through before a child can begin their academic career in Framingham Public Schools.

Please visit to begin registration and for additional information including detailed steps and timing. Here is a snapshot of the Kindergarten registration process. 

  1. Online pre-registration (Now - April 2, 2021)

  2. Schedule a phone appointment with the Parent Information Center (December 7, 2020 - April 2, 2021)

  3. Attend Virtual Kindergarten Information Event(s) (Details are still TBD)

  4. School Tours (March 2021)

  5. Receive school assignment form by May 14, 2021

  6. Confirm your school placement with the Parent Information Center by May 21, 2021

  7. Kindergarten Orientation on June 1, 2021

As always, the Parent Information Center welcomes parents to call or email the office with any questions. They are open virtually year round and can be reached between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. PIC is closed on weekends and holidays. Se habla Español / Falamos Português.

The Parent Information Center is dedicated to easing the transition into Framingham Public Schools for new families and supporting the diverse information needs of all current Framingham Public School families. One of the main functions of the department is to enroll and register all new students from preschool through grade 12. The Parent Information Center also assists with school placement, parent concerns, enrollment reports and projections, and more.
