Framingham Remembers the Passing of Devin Suau on October 20, 2017, with Framingham Acts of Kindness Week (October 20-27)
October 20th marked the fourth anniversary of Devin’s passing, and October 27th marks what would have been his eleventh birthday. Mayor Spicer, Superintendent Dr. Robert Tremblay, Framingham Public Schools, the Framingham City Council, and Framingham School Committee are joining to declare Wednesday, October 20, 2021, Devin Day – A Day of Friendship and Kindness; with a correlating week dedicated to Acts of Kindness from October 20-27 (#FraminghamKindness).
During this time, the City encourages all residents to recognize and perform acts of kindness and compassion above and beyond their daily interactions with friends, neighbors, and fellow residents.
Devin’s memory reminds us every day to address the most pressing challenges with confidence, and look for opportunities in our community to serve, whether a small act of kindness, or a huge leap of faith. For more information on Devin's story, please visit

When the Proclamation for Devin Day has been finalized, we will add it here.
