FPS Leadership Update
Today Dr. Tremblay shared the following announcement with Framingham Public Schools’ staff.
It is with incredibly mixed emotions that I write to tell you that Joseph Corazzini will be leaving the Framingham Public Schools to take on a new leadership position at Clark University effective October 22, 2021.
Since 2012, Joseph has served as the Director of Community Resource Development and most recently as the Assistant Superintendent of Equity, Diversity, and Community Engagement. Not only has Joseph initiated countless programs with community partners that have helped thousands of families to access services and basic needs, he has led and coordinated many hours of professional development for FPS employees beginning and continuously reinforcing our District’s effort to be an antiracist school district.
Joseph has dedicated his career to strengthening communities, advancing educational equity, and building partnerships to bring about positive change. We are fortunate for all that he has brought to the Framingham community. He will be sorely missed by our entire school community. I will be working with our Human Resources Department to post the position and secure Joseph’s successor.
Please join me in wishing Joseph well as he embarks on this new professional journey in higher education. His time spent in Framingham has opened doors, minds, and hearts for many students, staff, and families and we are a better district than ever before because of him!
Very truly yours,
Bob Tremblay
