Framingham Public Schools Seeks Community Input in Advance of Updating the Website

May 2, 2022 (Framingham, MA) - Framingham Public Schools (FPS) is launching a series of surveys to help guide a much-needed update of the current website. Included in this update will be a new homepage layout, accessibility improvements, alignment with the new brand colors, and rearranging information in a way that’s intended to be easier for the FPS community to find and access. There is no additional cost associated with this change and the District is not changing website providers so the general experience will remain the same.

The District homepage and department pages will be updated first and based on this experience the school websites will be updated over the summer. In order to put community member needs at the forefront of change, FPS is seeking input via three feedback surveys. One survey is targeted for parents/guardians, one is for staff, and the third survey is for community partners / members. All of the surveys ask similar questions, but are positioned for each stakeholder group.

“An organization’s website is the foundation for all public-facing updates and should contain pertinent and helpful information in a way that is easy for site visitors to find and easy to access,” said Rochelle Santos, Media and Communications Manager for Framingham Public Schools. “It’s been about seven years since the current website launched. In that time our needs and capabilities have changed and so has digital technology. It would be wonderful to hear from the FPS Community directly so that the next iteration of the website can be tailored to their needs and interests.”

Community members are invited to complete the stakeholder survey of their preference below by May 13th.
