Brophy Vice Principal Named Framingham Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Cynthia L. Page as the new Vice Principal of Brophy Elementary School. Ms. Page will officially join Principal Frank Rothwell this month. The new administrative team will eagerly greet the students of Brophy on the first day of school August 29th.
Ms. Page is quite familiar with the Brophy School having served as the school’s music teacher for the past 12 years. Additionally, Ms. Page has held other leadership positions within the school as a mentor of new teachers and as the school’s head teacher.
Ms. Page earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Skidmore College and her Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Framingham State University. Moreover, Ms. Page recently completed a one-year, intensive, certificate program with the Turnaround Leadership Academy (sponsored by Teachers 21) and Framingham Public School’s Aspiring Leaders Academy.
According to Principal Rothwell, “Ms. Page brings to the position a wealth of knowledge about our school, our school’s history, our community, and, most importantly, our students. Ms. Page has been a leader at our school for a long time, facilitating high quality collaboration in our school as well as across the school district by serving on various committees and teams. Her work is highly respected; her dedication to the students and faculty at Brophy School is unquestioned. We are excited for her to assume this new role.”
