Framingham Public Schools is pleased to announce a partnership with Instructure to implement Canvas as its new Learning Management System (LMS). The
Canvas LMS is designed to serve as an efficient tool to provide access to curriculum and grades, to enhance communication and to connect with a variety of
users, including administrators, teachers, students, and parents. This is part of a strategic plan to improve learning and teaching in the district.

Canvas will replace ItsLearning as the repository for curriculum content and other learning objects. It will offer the district the ability to increase efficiencies and to provide access to centralized learning resources and will provide a unified digital learning experience. Canvas also creates a multi-media environment designed to impact cognition and enhance the learning process. Canvas was selected based on its easy-to-use, reliable, open learning management system designed to help the district impact students’ learning experiences.
