FSU Area Directors Judge FHS Student Projects

March 20, 2019

Framingham State University Area Directors judge FHS student projects

Many thanks to Framingham State University for allowing two area directors from housing, Marcie Dineen and David Case, to act as potential buyers of dorm rooms designed by FHS Engineering by Design students. This is the second year that FSU has given invaluable feedback to our high school students.

Given a fixed amount floor area per dorm room, students were challenged to create a design that maximize both space, functionality, and utilize creative solutions. Students created a scale model and a sales presentation. FSU judges’ question forced the students to justify each part of their design choices.
