    Access Framingham’s mission is to engage, serve and enrich the community by developing programming by and for the people of Framingham, providing educational opportunities, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and information through traditional and new media. Access Framingham is a partner in education as they provide out of school time support for middle school programs and help staff Framingham Education Channel TV (FEC-TV).

    Animal Adventures

    Based in Bolton, MA, Animal Adventures is an exotic animal rescue founded by Ed and Brenda Laquidara in 1997. Ed has a PhD in Zoology while Brenda owned a pet store for many years. Together, Ed and Brenda formed Animal Adventures with the mission to provide a home to unwanted and unable to be cared for animals, while educating the public. Animal Adventures visits our schools through CRD for out of school time events and activities.

    Big Brothers, Big Sisters

    Big Brothers Big Sisters believes that inherent in every child is incredible potential. They make meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country. They offer student mentorship and also through it's subsidiary the Mazie Mentoring Program, offers two year mentorship to FHS students from their Sophomore year through Senior year.

    Boys & Girls Club

    The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest serves the communities surrounding Marlborough, Hudson and Framingham. Each year BGCMW provides youth development, education, prevention, social, athletic, and recreation programs to over 6,200 at-risk children and teens. BGCMW partners with CRD and our out of school time programs throughout the year.

    BRACE

    BRACE is a nonprofit organization created by Father Volmar Scaravelli to assist all immigrants regardless of nationality, race, gender, or religion, while preserving the values and cultural identity of each person. They welcome and empower all immigrants to help them in the arduous process of integration and adaptation into American society. They focus on educating and supporting the immigrant community, so each person can better advocate for him/herself.

    The Brazilian Times newspaper is the first Brazilian weekly in the United States to be published since August 1988. They have a local circulation for the States of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. They publish relevant Framingham Public Schools' updates as requested to help create awareness for programs and initiatives that impact the FPS community.

    Daniel's Table

    Daniel's Table offers free food services to Neighbors in need. Community Freezers are located around the City of Framingham for our partners to offer immediate hunger relief. A farmer's market is offered once per week at Daniel's Table. Individuals and families need to be registered prior to receiving services. Daniel's Table Hotline is 5008-239-6691 English/Spanish/Portuguese.

As a partner to our out of school time programs, Downtown Framingham, Inc provides students with community volunteer opportunities.

  • Family Promise MetroWest

    The mission of Family Promise MetroWest is to transform the lives of families with children that are facing homelessness by mobilizing a diverse community to provide shelter, education, and comprehensive support. They serve low- and moderate-income families with at least one child under the age of 18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Their families are Massachusetts residents, with priority given to families from the Metrowest region. They welcome all genders and family compositions as long as all adults were part of the nuclear family and living together when the family became homeless.

They have 75 acres of woodlands, fields and ponds in Lincoln, MA and are dedicated to providing respite and inspiration for children who might not otherwise have this opportunity. Farrington Nature Linc is a partner through CRD and visits our out of school time programs.

    The Framingham Public Library provides an open, unbiased environment and upholds the public’s right of equal access to information and services. Through guidance, resources, and programs, the FPL meets the diverse needs of individuals and groups using traditional and innovative technologies. Both the Main Branch and the McAuliffe Branch, as well as the Book Mobile provide a friendly, physical environment that serves as a community meeting place, encouraging curiosity, free inquiry, and lifelong learning. The Book Mobile frequently partners with CRD and visits our out of school time programs.

  • Hoops and Homework

    Licensed through the Massachusetts Office of Early Education and Care, Hoops and Homework offers academic and enrichment services to youth ages 5 - 14 residing around the Beaver and Waverly Street areas. They strive to ensure a safe and fun learning environment for all of our youth. The program operates at two locations and are open after school during the school year, as well as in the afternoons during the summer.

    Advocates Intercultural Family Support Center (AIFSC) connects families of children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Massachusetts Middlesex West area to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. The families they support are the foremost experts on their lives, and AIFSC partners with them to design supports for their unique cultural, ethnic, and linguistic needs and goals. Utilizing shared experiences, insights, and information, and AIFSC strives to provide opportunities for families and individuals to make lasting and meaningful connections. They host family events, social groups, and recreational activities through the Center to foster a strong and welcoming community.

  • Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Metrowest

    Jewish Family Service of Metrowest (JFS) provides vital social, health, and community services to alleviate suffering, enhance lives, and support people in need. JFS partners with Framingham Public Schools in many ways - some of which include managing and contributing to the FPS Resource Room, support with Literations (another local non-profit addressing the literacy achievement gap one student at a time), events, food drives, and much more.
