Framingham Public Schools provides a broad array of services for children and youth identified with disabilities from the ages of three through twenty-two. State and federal special education laws and regulations, namely The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), govern the referral, evaluation, and placement procedures. Framingham Public Schools is committed to the goal of providing an appropriate education for students with needs in the least restrictive environment.

Social-Emotional Well-Being and Academic Success Workshop
10/14/22: This workshop aims to support caregivers of all students with social and emotional support at home and in-school, navigating health insurance, and helping your child access resources in the community.

Coordinated Program Review Press Release
The Massachusetts Department of Education conducted a review of Framingham’s programs for Special Education, Civil Rights, and Career Education complete with a site visit in December, 2014.

No School Reminders
5/26/23: In honor of Memorial Day, all schools are closed on Monday, May 29th. There is also no Kindergarten on Wednesday, June 7th because incoming Kindergarteners have their orientation.
