Important Immunization information
The MDPH Immunization Division has updated the 2021-2022 Immunization Requirements for School Entry. The update includes 1 dose of MenACWY (formerly MCV4) for student entry to grades 7 and 8 and 2 doses for entry to grades 11 and 12. Please note the second dose for MenACWY must be given on or after the 16th birthday.The addition of an influenza vaccine requirement for school entry was removed due to COVID-19 pandemic-related circumstances and the mild 2020/21 flu season. It has not been reinstated, but the Department of Public Health strongly recommends that all children be vaccinated with both influenza vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine according to age eligibility.Please click on the Immunization requirements link below
