Office of Finance and Operations
The Office of Finance & Operations for the Framingham Public Schools is committed to providing our community with transparent financial information, well-maintained facilities and an overall efficient school operation. We strive to support our staff, our students and our families through best business practices. Located at 19 Flagg Drive at the Farley building, the Office of Finance & Operations provides financial management for the School Department, including budget, procurement, accounting, policies and procedures and grant management. The office also provides daily operational support to the following departments: Buildings & Grounds, Food Services, Safety & Security, Transportation and Technology.
The Business office processes hundreds of vendor invoices weekly and is responsible for the processing of purchase orders and input for payment of invoices on a timely basis. Each month, disbursements are timely, accurate and made in compliance with established Framingham Public School policies and procedures. In addition, disbursements must meet the rules and regulations of governmental agencies - federal, state, and local.
