Hello! Welcome to second grade at Hemenway! My name is Erica Miller. I am extremely excited to work with you and your child this year as his or her classroom teacher! This will be my fifth year teaching at Hemenway, and I cannot wait to have you in my class! I taught 4th grade for three years, and this will be my second year in 2nd! I even taught pre-k for a year before Hemenway! 

I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Boston University in 2014. In 2016, I received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Simmons College, where I also attained my endorsement to teach English Language Learners. 

Part of my educational philosophy centers on successful parent-teacher communication.
