    October 4th, 2021 was our first Community Gathering meeting of the 2021-2022 school year. Click here to view the information presented to families at that virtual meeting. Every month our Community Gathering meeting will focus on a different topic to help you support your family and your children’s education. Interpretation will be provided.

     

    Community Gathering Meetings are held the first Monday of every month for the 2021-2022 school year, 6:00pm - 7:00pm

    October 4th, November 1st, December 6th, January 3rd, February 7th, March 7th, April 4th, May 2nd, June 6th

    What is a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)?

    The role of the PTO  is to help our school become a stronger community where families, students and teachers can connect and help to make the school a better place.

     

    Fundraising: The PTO helps raise funds for our school through events like dances and family fun nights.  Funds are used by the school at the request of staff for field trips, mini-grants, and for school wide projects such as positive behavior incentives or library books.  Past events have included: book fair, picture day, dances, bingo nights, Springfest, movie night, etc.

     

    The officers of the organization are called the Executive Board:

     President, Co-President (optional), Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer


    The School Principal serves as key contact for the PTO. Approves of all fundraising projects to help ensure alignment with school goals, and support the success of PTOs endeavors.

     

    O que é a  Organização de Pais e Professores (PTO)?

    O papel do PTO é para ajudar a nossa escola se tornar uma comunidade mais forte onde as famílias, alunos e professores podem se conectar e ajudar a tornar a escola um lugar melhor

     

    Angariação de fundos: O PTO ajuda a levantar fundos para a nossa escola através de eventos como danças e  noites familiares de diversão. Os fundos são usados pela escola a pedido dos professores para excursões escolares, projetos, tais como incentivos de comportamento positivos ou livros da biblioteca. Eventos passados incluíram: feira de livros, dia de fotografias, danças, noites de bingo, Springfest, noite de cinema, etc.

     

    Os oficiais da organização são chamados a Diretoria Executiva:

     Presidente, Co-Presidente (opcional), Vice-Presidente, Secretário, Tesoureiro


    O diretor da escola serve como contato chave para a organização. Ele/ela aprova todos os projectos de angariação de fundos para ajudar a garantir o alinhamento com os objetivos da escola, e ajuda apoiar o sucesso dos esforços do PTO.
