2024 Communications Survey
-
Introduction
The Communications Office is currently gathering insight from parents, students, and staff about our current and future communication interests.
The 2024 survey series aligns with a goal set at the beginning of the school year and also helps a volunteer Task Force currently working internally to define two-way communication and engagement requirements that support ongoing school-to-home engagement and relationship building to benefit all students.
You can read more about the 2024 Communication Survey Series in the Smore sent on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
Communications Surveys
January 21 - February 3: District Communications Survey for Caregivers
The survey is presented as 22 pages, which feels long at first glance. However, the 24 survey questions are divided into 7 small, categorized sections and then repeated in Spanish and Portuguese. Not all questions are required. The sections include General Communication Feedback (8 questions); Content, Quality, and Frequency (7 questions); Social Media (1 question, only if you follow); Website (2 questions); Newsletters (3 questions); and Future Interests (3 questions).
February 4 - March 2: Communications Survey for Staff (Deadline extended)
February 14 - March 2: School / Class Communications Survey for Caregivers
Week of March 26 (Tentative): Communications Survey for High School Students (The Media and Communications Office is partnering with FHS student representative for the Framingham School Committee, Jordan Cohen on the student survey. More to come!)
Coffee Comms Chats
Every Friday between January 26 and March 1 from 9:30am - 11:30am, the Media and Communications Manager (Rochelle Santos) and the new Assistant Superintendent of Equity, Belonging, and Community Engagement (Dr. Anthony Pope), will hold open office hours for caregivers to discuss FPS communication and gather input.
