Ms. Victoria Barstow

Ms. Barstow "retired" after 32 years of teaching and coaching in Framingham; and is now starting her 3rd year as a .2 Math Coach at Brophy.  She and her coaching partner, Mrs. Kate Coleman, were the district's first two Math Coaches and have collaborated closely for the past eight years.  Ms. Barstow coached at McCarthy and Brophy Schools.  Before becoming a coach Ms. Barstow taught fifith grade for over a decade at Brophy and before that she was Brophy's Special Educator.  Prior to joining the Brophy community in 1994 she spent the first part of her career in Framingham as a MIddle School Special Educator.  Ms. Barstow earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Wellesley College and completed her Masters Degree in Special Education at Lesley University.

She believes all children can learn and succeed mathematically, and have fun while doing so!  She is excited to have our Brophy Math Page so parents and students can access links to entertaining and educational math activities.
