Calling Framingham Home

  • Framingham has become a destination city that many of us love to call home - either because we live here, work here, and in many cases we live and work here! In our melting pot of a community, you will find a mixture of cultures and languages, which also inspires a variety of restaurants offering cuisines from around the world. This is just one thing that makes our city unique and a fun place to grow and explore.

Large and small businesses have also chosen to call Framingham home. Whether you’re driving down Route 9 or through our revitalized downtown area, you will find both long-standing and new retail and service-based businesses that meet all of your needs.

Located between Worcester and Boston, if Framingham doesn’t have the amenities you are looking for,  it is only a short drive away or a quick ride on the MTA public transportation system. The city of Framingham has the ability to feel like a city, suburb, or rural living location -  all you have to do is drive a few miles down the road.

  • Insurance

We offer more than ten different health care plans, including Tufts and Harvard Pilgrim. Furthermore, we pay for approximately 85% of the total monthly share. Our health insurance options are not “one size fits all” as we understand that everyone has different needs. Do you often travel outside of the United States? Well, we have an insurance plan for that: UniCare. Our insurance options range from the most basic to the most extensive. From local coverage to universal coverage, there is a plan that will suit your needs and lifestyle. View this newsletter from HR for more information on our Insurance Benefits

    Beyond Insurance
In addition to being a great place to live and work, with a large variety of insurance options, Framingham Public Schools offers staff well-being events, retention and growth opportunities, and various pipeline and recruitment initiatives. From Staff Yoga and MTEL Vouchers to Retiree Recognitions and Employee Resource Groups - we want our employees to feel fulfilled and supported as they learn, grow, and lead.
