The Department of Grants Development & Title I (GDO) was established to help provide accountability to funds, help Framingham Public Schools track grant funds coming in, and offer support to the schools in the grant application and management process. GDO staff also manages and administers the Title I grant which provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers of economically disadvantage students.

Understanding the Impact of Poverty on Students Outcomes: A learning module developed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) through the Low-income Education Access Project (LEAP)
While poverty can impact brain development and student academic, social, and emotional learning, we -educators, administrators, parents/guardians- have the ability to make a bigger impact!
COMING SOON: A Parent Guide to State and Local Report Cards - A message from the Secretary of Education: "States and districts are required to publish report cards that show how the State, district, and schools are doing with regard to student achievement and success." Framingham Public Schools' and District's Report Cards will be available in February. Copies of the report cards will be accessible on our website under Title I page, at Framingham Public Library and at McAuliffe Branch Library.
