Family and Community Engagement Overview

  • Family and Community Engagement is an important part of the Framingham Public Schools experience. The District serves to support our students’ first and most important teachers - their families and communities. To be truly committed to the success of our students, we must support their families and their communities to play an active role in the learning process. As such, several departments and offices contribute to the effort to support our families and communities, to engage children in lifelong, enriching, social, emotional, and educational development; this includes the Department of Student Registration (formerly known as PIC), Framingham Adult ESL Plus (FAESL+), the Early Childhood Alliance of Ashland and Framingham (ECAAF), the FPS Attendance Office, and newly added, FPS Wraparound Services. Together, these dedicated resources demonstrate the District’s deep commitment to community outreach and involvement.
