    Expanding Pre-K  learning opportunities

    Partnerships for Early Learners

Framingham Public Schools and its community partners, MetroWest YMCA and Framingham State University-Centers for Early Childhood Education will begin registration of four-year-old children in the community with a focus on those who may not otherwise have access, resources, finances, or the opportunity to attend high quality early education programs before entering Kindergarten.

Interested families will need to meet eligibility criteria for acceptance into PEL. A lottery may take place to fill these PreK spots for children to attend before entering Kindergarten in September.

Students will be enrolled in a half-day session of curriculum and instruction that can be supplemented with additional hours for care to enhance social emotional learning.

    Half-Day

    • 2.5 hour AM Session
    • 2.5 hour PM Session
