Mr. Anthony Ortiz

Mr. Anthony Ortiz comes to Framingham Public Schools from Worcester. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Spanish from Worcester State University, and a Master’s Degree in Community Development and Planning from Clark University. Mr. Anthony served as a youth worker for over ten years in areas that include: career readiness, college preparation, peer mentoring, and serving in committees that support boys and men of color in securing safe spaces for social/emotional healing dialogue. Outside of work, Mr. Anthony enjoys spending time with his daughter, playing and watching sports, dancing and listening to music.

Mx. Ashley Torres Carrasquillo

Ashley Torres Carrasquillo (pronouns: she/they- ella/elles) is the wrap around Coordinator at Fuller Middle School. Ashley’s background is in community organizing, youth advocacy, and Ethnic Studies. Their work with youth and families started in 2014 as an intern with Wayside’s Tempo program, later becoming the coordinator of the only shelter for youth in the MetroWest region. Mx.Torres is originally from Puerto Rico, and attended Framingham Public Schools as an ESL student. After graduating from FHS they went on to finish their B.S in Gender and Sexualities Studies, later obtaining an M.S in Critical Ethnic and Communities studies. Mx. Ashley has taught college courses and also worked with youth in co-developing and facilitating anti-Black racism, anti-violence, and healing art-based curricula. Mx. Torres enjoys listening and dancing to Afro Caribbean music, creating art and going camping.

Ms. Keziah Franca

Ms. Keziah Franca is the wrap around coordinator at McCarthy Elementary School. As a former Framingham Public School’s student herself, Ms. Kez has a passion for supporting students and families within the community. Prior to stepping into her current role, she served the community as a case manager for homeless families through SMOC and as a bilingual domestic violence advocate through Voices Against Violence. Being first generation Brazilian-American, Ms. Kez can empathize with the needs of the growing immigrant population. With her cultural and professional background and skill set, she is able to make families feel heard, accepted, and empowered. In her free time, Ms. Kez loves spending time with her son and dog, practicing self-care, and enjoying music.

Ms. Raquel Cezar

Ms. Raquel Cezar is the new wrap around coordinator for Harmony Grove Elementary School (Woodrow Wilson). Ms. Raquel has been serving the community since 2014 stepping into many roles, as a native language tutor, ESL assistant teacher, ESL teacher, ASD Summer program teacher, district interpreter and family engagement advocate. She received a bachelor’s in psychology from Framingham State University and has always had passion for helping the youth and immigrant families. Having migrated here from Brasil herself, she can identify with the many needs of our community. Her unique vision and background gives her the ability to help families feel welcome and accepted. Ms. Raquel believes in cultivating a holistic lifestyle and maintaining balance between mind, body and soul. In her personal time she strives to be the best version of herself and be a role model for self-acceptance and self-development. She enjoys spending time in nature, with her daughter, and traveling.
