    We are excited to share that Framingham Public Schools is adopting Remind, district-wide, make connecting with our families more engaging! Remind offers administrators, educators, students, parents, and guardians a safe and effective way to communicate about school assignments and grades, ask questions, collaborate, and more. It is rolling out at all schools throughout the month of November.

    Remind is a classroom communication tool that is free to use and makes it easy to stay involved with your child's learning. With Remind, members of the FPS Community will be able to get and send messages on any device—even a simple text message from a cell phone!

    With Remind:

    • Parents can choose how to receive messages – text, email, or app. For students, texting is available for ages 13 and over.
    • It allows for safe and secure messaging that is available in multiple languages.
    • It has a call feature, so teachers may use it to make calls. 

    As part of this rollout, official accounts are being created for all the educators and students at Framingham Public Schools.

    Parents can expect District emails informing them when Remind is coming, followed by emails from their child's teacher(s) for an invitation and login instructions. 

    *Please note this program is currently being rolled out. Not all teachers or classes will be available immediately for communication.
