• June 25th - Dr. Tremblay sent this message to the FPS Community, outlining the initial guidance from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) which will be reflected in plans from FPS. Further direction from the state is expected, but this preliminary info allowed Framingham and all MA School Districts to start from the same place.

    July 1st - School Committee Meeting: Dr. Tremblay presented the initial plan and next steps for Framingham following the preliminary guidelines from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). You can watch the meeting on Facebook and view the presentation slides in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

    July 8th - Back to School Planning Feedback Survey: Parents/Guardians, Students, and Staff have been provided with an opportunity to provide feedback and input in response to the plan presented on July 1st.     July 15th - School Committee Meeting: This meeting included Dr. Sam Wong and Alexandra DePalo from the Framingham Board of Health. They will be discussing the COVID-19 Report and FPS & Department of Public Health Collaborations; Continued Discussions on DESE Initial Guidance for School Reopening; Flu Vaccination; and Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) and Mosquito Control.
