The fee for the 2021-2022 school year is: $250 per child / $500 family maximum.
The due date is July 31, 2021.
Students entering grades K – 6 who live within 2 miles of their assigned school and ALL students grades 7 – 12, are required to pay the bus fee. The bus fee is waived* for students who qualify for the Free/Reduced Meals program.
Ways to pay:
- Online payments will be accepted beginning May 10, 2021 with Credit/Debit card and eCheck. PAY HERE.
- Check or money order should be payable to the City of Framingham and mailed to Transportation Department, 31 Flagg Dr., Framingham MA 01702.
No cash will be accepted.
*Fee waiver: Students who qualify for Free/Reduced Meals are eligible for a waiver of the bus fee. The Free/Reduced Meals application must be filled out each year. If a form is not completed the family will be obligated to pay the $250.00 bus fee. Bus pass privileges will be revoked until the waiver is approved or the fee is paid. The Free/Reduced Meals applications will be available online August 1, 2021 and provided to your child at the beginning of the school year via Food Services.
Framingham Public School buses are equipped to monitor bus activity with the use of audio and visual recordings. School Administration generally requests to review the footage when a situation has been brought to their attention. Our current vendor, Durham School Services, randomly reviews footage for employee performance evaluations.
