• The fee for the 2021-2022 school year is: $250 per child / $500 family maximum.

    The due date is July 31, 2021.

    Students entering grades K – 6 who live within 2 miles of their assigned school and ALL students grades 7 – 12, are required to pay the bus fee. The bus fee is waived* for students who qualify for the Free/Reduced Meals program.

    Ways to pay:

    • Online payments will be accepted beginning May 10, 2021 with Credit/Debit card and eCheck. PAY HERE.
    • Check or money order should be payable to the City of Framingham and mailed to Transportation Department, 31 Flagg Dr., Framingham MA 01702.

    No cash will be accepted.

    *Fee waiver: Students who qualify for Free/Reduced Meals are eligible for a waiver of the bus fee. The Free/Reduced Meals application must be filled out each year. If a form is not completed the family will be obligated to pay the $250.00 bus fee. Bus pass privileges will be revoked until the waiver is approved or the fee is paid. The Free/Reduced Meals applications will be available online August 1, 2021 and provided to your child at the beginning of the school year via Food Services.

  • Framingham Public School buses are equipped to monitor bus activity with the use of audio and visual recordings. School Administration generally requests to review the footage when a situation has been brought to their attention. Our current vendor, Durham School Services, randomly reviews footage for employee performance evaluations.
