Miss Tracey

Dear Fourth Grade Family Members,

I am thrilled to be joining your child on his or her fourth-grade journey at Potter Road Elementary School. Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.  My name is Shannon Tracey and I will be your child’s fourth-grade teacher. As a graduate of Framingham State University, I am excited to be teaching in Framingham. Shortly after graduating, I enrolled in a master’s program. I hold a Master of Education in Mathematics from Lesley University.

This is my second year at Potter Road Elementary School and I am eager to work in such an amazing community.  I have also worked as a fourth-grade teacher for the Brockton Public Schools district. I also have experience working in kindergarten through fifth grade as instructional support staff, a paraprofessional and a behavior therapist for the Newton Public Schools district. I look forward to getting to know you and your fourth grader.

As someone with classroom teaching experience, I am confident this will be a calm transition for your child. I will be working closely with the other staff members to ensure that your child is as comfortable as possible. Potter Road Elementary School is an amazing community where your child can thrive and I am ecstatic to be a part of that team.

Fourth grade is an important year for learning and I believe that getting to know your child is an essential part of his or her educational experience. If there is any information you wish to share with me about your child, please feel free to contact me at stracey@framingham.k12.ma.us or by calling me at the school at (508)- 626-9110. I am happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

I look forward to meeting you and your child!
