    HOW SCHOOL ASSIGNMENTS ARE MADE

     GRADES KINDERGARTEN-5

Students entering FPS  will continue to be assigned through a controlled choice program.
Parents/ guardians will receive a choice form to fill out with their preferences after completing the registration.

Some schools may have few or no seats available after siblings and first-choice Home District students have been assigned.

Sibling Preference – An entering student with an older sibling who is currently in grades K-4 will receive a preferential assignment to the older sibling's school if that school is designated as the first choice and a seat is available.

Home District Preference – Each student has designated a Home District school based on their home address, and a seat is available. If you have questions about your student's Home District school, please call or email the Parent Information Center.

Dual Language Programs - Spanish and Portuguese - For new students entering Kindergarten and 1st grade only.
Special entrance criteria are required. Don't hesitate to get in touch with the Bilingual Department at vbertelli@framingham.k12.ma.us
