Home District Street Listing- SY 2020-2021
HOW SCHOOL ASSIGNMENTS ARE MADE
Students entering FPS in 2020 will continue to be assigned through a controlled choice program.
Parents/Guardians will receive a choice form to fill out with their preferences after the registration is complete.
Some schools may have few or no seats available after siblings and first-choice Home District students have been assigned.
Sibling Preference – An entering student with an older sibling who is currently in grades K-4 will receive a preferential assignment to the older sibling’s school if that school is designated as the first choice and a seat is available.
Home District Preference – Each student has designated a Home District school based on their home address and a seat is available. If you have questions about your student’s Home District school, please call or email the Parent Information Center.Dual Language Programs - Spanish and Portuguese - For new students entering Kindergarten and 1st grade only.

GRADES 6-8 - MIDDLE SCHOOLStudents in General Education:• Students are assigned to their home district school provided space is available at their grade level.• A home district school is designated by your home address. Home District Street ListingStudents that receive Special Education Services:
• School designation is made by the Special Education Department.
Students that receive English Learner Services:
• School designation is made by the Bilingual Education Department.
GRADES 9-12 - HIGH SCHOOL
