Looks like the new teaching team at King enjoyed this part of their 4 day PD “Sabbatical” at the Museum of Science, Boston. This portion of the PD is funded by a grant to the MOS from Genzyme (and we are grateful!).
Teachers are doing a combo of learning about science pedagogy (inquiry) and working on unit/lesson development. In the photos you see the teachers working on the daily STEAM challenge to build a device that would provide the highest bounce to a golf ball dropped on it from a specific height.
Trivia Night is free and takes place at Nevins Hall from 5:50-7:30pm on Monday October 21st! Dinner and Translation will be available.
Dr. Tremblay is seeking parents/guardians, staff members, and community members to engage in important visioning work that will result in the next multi-year Strategic Plan for the Framingham Public Schools.
We are seeking opinions from stakeholders (including staff, parents, and community members) who have an interest or thoughts on this role and the desired attributes.
On Thursday, October 3rd approximately 50 volunteers arrived to the BLOCKS Preschool Program at Juniper Hill for a day of service.
