During Thanksgiving, every year we (Walsh community) have always responded to the need of others. This year we are expecting 40 plus Walsh families that are in need of help during Thanksgiving.
The food drive is starting on Monday, November 12th and runs until Friday, November 22nd. We are collecting non-perishable items such as, (mashed potato, gravy, cornbread, canned vegetable, cranberry sauce, pasta, and sauce) NO GLASS JARS, please, as they break in the boxes and make a HUGE mess. Cash donations are also being accepted.
Each homeroom will have boxes for students to drop off non-perishable. Cash/check donations should come into the main office. The homeroom with the most donation will win a group prize.
