We are pleased to inform you that the Woodrow Wilson Elementary School received Authorization to teach the Primary Years Programme (PYP) on June 10, 2015. IB schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that the Woodrow Wilson Elementary School believes is important for our students.
There are many opportunities for parents, students and teachers to learn more about what it means to be an IB school. Students are learning to see themselves as IB learners every day through the learner profile and IB attitudes. Our monthly PTO meetings and Global Gatherings also highlight some of the important academic work happening in our classrooms. We hope that you join us in sharing these exciting changes and continue to help us develop into a community of learners.
Due to an Eversource transformer malfunction, summer programming is canceled tomorrow on July 18th at Juniper Hill.
The practice of mindfulness is important to our Teachers – not just for themselves, but also for use in the classroom. We’re grateful for this special partnership and look forward to continuing this work.
This video was recorded in English, Spanish, and Portuguese! Please watch Dr. Tremblay's year-end message for a look back at what we accomplished and for a look ahead into the 2018-2019 school year.
Andrea Urbano, accompanied by Ms. Michelle Kinsella and Dr. Tremblay, attended the State House today because she was one of 12 students across Massachusetts to win their annual anti-tobacco poster contest.
