Walsh students are invited to join the Walsh chapter of BEST BUDDIES! Best Buddies empowers all youth to become advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We organize monthly events (on the weekend) outside of school that welcome EVERYONE (those with and without special needs) to participate and have some fun!
Some things we have done in the past include: Hanson’s Haunted Hayride, mini golf, movies, bowling, and more! We also have monthly Buddy Lunches in the library.
For more information, email Otto Johnson, the school psychologist who is one of the chapter advisors, at email@example.com. Students may use the following link to apply online: https://www.
The Town of Framingham, Framingham Public Schools, Police Department, Fire Department and Public Works will be sharing information about school bus safety, distracted driving and walking, traffic safety in school zones, social media safety, etc. Please be sure to like and follow all of our pages.
Get free flu shots for your family (6mos+) at McCarthy Elementary School on Saturday, October 26th between 10am - 2pm. Insurance is not necessary.
As we encounter warmer weather tomorrow, I am recommending that teachers open classroom windows as it makes sense during the day to ensure proper air flow in classrooms. Families may wish to apply repellent on their children before school and/or send them to school in long pants/long-sleeve shirts as an added precautionary measure.
Stakeholders with relevant expertise from the community are invited to participate in the Screening Committee.
This is an exciting opportunity for 4th and 5th grade students! Sign up now for the fall production of The Lion King, Jr. at Fuller Middle School.
