I love teaching first grade sheltered English! I have been teaching in this type of classroom since 2008. My parents are from the Azores, and Portuguese is the language spoken at home. I am from Rhode Island and enjoy working in Framingham.

Eu amo ensinar a primeira série “sheltered English”! Ensino a este tipo de sala desde 2008. Meus pais são dos Açores, e foi criada a falar Português em casa. Sou do estado de Rhode Island e gosto de trabalhar em Framingham.
About our Class This Year
This year we will be experimenting with a new IB unit as a first grade team! I will try to keep everyone informed of what we are working on throughout the year.
Our class is a special place to learn and grow. This year we learn about several different things. Some of the topics include: apples, Pilgrims, maps, frogs, Japan, etc. There are so many things to learn in first grade, it’s too long to list! We will have a great year together learning and having fun.
Este ano na primeira serie vamos experimentar fazer uma unidade da maneira IB! Eu vou tentar a informar-vos sobre as temas que vamos estudar este ano.
A nossa classe é um lugar especial para aprender e crescer.Este ano aprendemos várias coisas.Alguns dos assuntos são:macãs,“Pilgrims”, mapas, sapos, Japão, etc.Tantas coisas para aprender na primeira série!Vamos ter um ano agradável aprendendo e divertindo-nos.
