Welcome to Kindergarten and room 106! My name is Nicole Nguyen-Le (Mrs. Le) and this will be my sixth year working at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School. Many of you may know me as Miss Manseau but I got married this summer and now I have a new name! Before teaching Kindergarten I worked as an assistant in the third and fourth grade inclusion classrooms. I graduated from Framingham State University with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and with my Master's degree in Literacy. I love working at Woodrow Wilson and look forward to having a wonderful year with your kindergartener.
I am looking forward to the 2012-2013 school year. I have a lot of fun activities planned for your child. Our days will be filled with read alouds, sharing time, fun lessons, interactive centers, and opportunities for social-emotional growth and independence. There will also be opportunities to work with other classrooms and students in the building. Please consider coming into our classroom and sharing your time and talents with us, if your schedule allows you to do so. Some opportunities/possibilities for parent involvement include being a guest reader, assisting with a project, or supporting students at one of our center activities (of course if you have some other ideas I would love to discuss them with you)!
Some things to keep in mind:
During the first few days/weeks of school your child will be coming home with many notices (some of which you will need to fill out and return to school). Please be sure to check your child's backpack each night, fill out any forms needed by the school, and return them to school as soon as possible.
