Resource Room Teachers

The Resource Room Teachers work with classroom teachers to support the academic and behavioral needs of students.Depending on the needs of the students, the Resource Room Teachers may help students with reading, writing, math, science, social studies, or organizational skills.Work with students can occur in the following environments: the general education classroom, or small group or individual instruction in a separate classroom for a period or two a day.
Resource Room Teachers may be asked to conduct diagnostic evaluations.Testing may focus on a general overview of academics (e.g., reading, mathematics, and written expression).
