Ron Burton Training Village

The Ron Burton Boy Program is open to all fifth grade boys.They meet with me every Wednesday, when I check to see if their homework is completed, and they are continuing to work on their challenges.The boys who continue to not only complete their work, reading, chores, community service, but also behave and are good role models for the other students, have a chance to earn a scholarship to the Ron Burton Training Village.This program is only at Woodrow Wilson School. Presently there are over 15 boys from this school who attend the camp.Three of them have earned college scholarships to Boston College, The Naval Academy, and Stonehill.We are hopeful that many other boys will also earn scholarships to colleges that give support to the Training Village.
