Student Body Walsh is made up of roughly 750 Faculty and Staff Walsh has approximately 80 staff members who work together to provide a great learning experience for all students. Academic Subjects Every student attends English language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies, and World Language classes (French or Spanish) on a daily basis. Some students who receive special education services attend a daily support class in place of a world language class. Related Arts All students have a Related Arts class each day. Related arts classes rotate throughout the year. This daily block is comprised of technology education, art, music (band, orchestra, music), health, physical education, and drama. We have 3 guidance counselors who each work with a particular grade level, a psychologist, and a social worker who each work with teaching teams and administration to coordinate and provide support services that significantly impact students. Extra-Curricular Offerings We offer many after-school activities that are open to all students. These activities include a range of intramural sports, clubs, Study Zone (academic support), fine arts activities, as well as our our after-school Leap Program.
