Helpful Tips for the First Day of Kindergarten--
August 31
Students should bring-- a backpack (large enough to fit folders)
--a snack ( 1 or 2 items and water or juice, no soda)
-- a lunch or lunch money -- a rest time blanket in a bag
-- a change of clothes in a bag (in case of accidents)--
this bag will stay at school until needed
Please LABEL all items with your child's name.
NO TOYS (this includes cards such as yu-gi-oh cards
and also NO SILLY BANDS) should be brought to school.

Each student is expected to follow rules every day.
1. We are kind to each other.
2. We keep our hands and bodies to ourselves.
3. We listen to each other.
4. We always try our BEST!!
In Kindergarten we will learn--
#numbers #counting (by 1s, 5s, and 10s) #mathematical patterns #2-d and 3-d shapes
#telling time on an analogue clock #measurement (weight, length, capacity)
#simple addition #counting a group of objects #to sort objects by an attribute #U.S. coins
