Art

Using a variety of ways to explore, learn and communicate, students develop their capacity for imaginative and reflective thinking. The visual arts provide this variety.

 

Basic Text:

No basic text is used. Art reference materials are utilized to illuminate and reinforce the students’ exploratory and creative visual expression.

 

General Objectives:

To extend and build sequentially on students’ previous art experiences and provide exploratory activities in many phases of art production.

 

Grade seven students like to combine their independence and improved skills with their previously acquired knowledge to produce their art. Growth in art is exhibited by craftsmanship, sketching and a desire for individuality.
