Elementary Level

Goals:

  • Increase students' ability and confidence in oral language skills
  • Provide experiences that build vocabulary profiency
  • Strengthen relationships with adults and peers
  • Create partnerships among the schools, families and community in order to share and maximize resources

Middle School Level

Goals:

  • Increase students' ability and confidence to communicate mathematically
  • Provide experiences that build vocabulary profiency
  • Strengthen relationships with adults and peers
  • Inscreas student's capacity to solve problems through expeirences with academic, physical, and interpersonal challenges
  • Create partnerships among the schools, families and community in order to share and maximize resources

Objectives:

  • Providing programming which is fun
  • Creating an environment in which students can have relationships with warm, caring adults.
  • Providing support in completing homework
  • Creating enrichment activities that allow students to practice problem solving, use mathematical language and reinforce math concepts
