Mark Smith Poetry Contest Winners
Great news! Brophy had 3 out of the 6 winners in the Mark Smith Poetry Contest. Congratulations to our winners!

• Mrs Baer's Kindergarten class won with "unless"
• Natalie Stevens in Ms. Cheever's 1st grade class won with "Spring Senses"
• Laura Herrman in Ms. Santora's 4th grade class won with "Ms. Sassy"

The awards ceremony will take place Wednesday, May 23rd at 7pm in the Costin room at the Framingham main library

Brophy Variety Show - Friday May 18th 7pm
Our annual variety show is this Friday evening, May 18th. For those of you who have not seen it yet, children and staff (who sign up) go up on stage to show off their special talents. There is singing, dancing and musicians. It's really a great night had by all! Above is the order form for tickets. Please send them in by Thursday morning May 17th. All proceeds benefit the Performing Arts Fund.

Dress rehearsal is Thursday, May 17th, immediately after school
Variety Show night Friday, May 18th, 7:00pm

Please donate concession items for the Variety Show!
We will be selling snacks and drinks at the variety show. We are in need of items such as juice boxes, individually wrapped snacks, chips and candy items. Please send in your donations by Thursday, May 18th.

Open House and Spring Basket Raffle is coming!
On May 23rd Brophy will welcome all families to visit their child's classrooms and specials. On that evening we host our Spring Basket Raffle! We are seeking contributions from all the children. Each grade has a theme. If your child can send in an item for their grade's theme or any of the other themes that would be great! Several baskets will be made for all the items collected. The more items collected the more chances you have to win!
Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5 All proceeds benefit the many programs the PTO offers: Creative Arts, Bus transportation for field trips, Contributions to children's classrooms, New books for all students and much more!
