Mrs. Helwig loves being a kindergarten teacher! Nothing is more exciting than watching young students develop into readers, writers, and mathematicians! Mrs. Helwig is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and is in the final stages of completing her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. During her free time, Mrs. Helwig loves to take care of her own children, walk her dogs and paint. Mrs. Helwig has been part of Brophy School since 2012 and feels so grateful to be part of this wonderful community.

Mrs. Mavrikis earned her elementary teaching license from Framingham State College and is certified in early childhood education. Mrs. Mavrikis challenges her students with interactive activities where children feel they can explore and grow in a nurturing environment.

Mrs. Mavrikis is fluent in Portuguese and loves working with the diverse Brophy school community. She actively works with the Brophy PTO to enhance family engagement and promote positive relationships between staff and parents.

In her free time, Mrs. Mavrikis enjoys spending time with her children, cooking, and boating on the shores of Cape Cod.

Sarah McKeon has been teaching since 1999 and has been a Kindergarten teacher at Brophy since 2009. She has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. McKeon speaks Spanish and has years of experience working with diverse populations. She likes that Brophy School is a representative of the real world and knows that the students can learn a lot from each other. Ms. McKeon has a background in ESL, Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences, and differentiated instruction. She believes that each child can be a strong learner and individual, and spends a lot of time in her classroom building relationships and a safe environment with her students. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, exercising, and karaoke singing. She is also a die-hard sports fan and follows all Boston and New England teams with great energy!

Ms. Peck has a Masters degree in Early Childhood for Students With or Without Disabilities from Lesley University. Ms. Peck has been teaching Kindergarten at Brophy School since 2011. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, being outside, and reading books. She is also a certified kids yoga instructor and enjoys bringing her outside experiences into the classroom.

Mrs. Reilly has been teaching at Brophy School for twenty years. She has a degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Reilly's years at Brophy have included teaching both 3rd grade and Kindergarten. She is now excited to have a new position as the K/1 Intervention Facilitator. Her time will be supporting K/1 teachers during literacy as well as working with struggling learners in both grade levels.

Miss Rodriguez has her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education for students with or without disabilities from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also has a degree in psychology and minored in Spanish. She started working at Brophy in the fall of 2014, and is loving the school, staff, and students! She could not feel luckier to start her career at such a wonderful place. In her free time, Miss Rodriguez enjoys swimming, skiing, and a good book.
