Sarah Smith has been teaching for almost 14 years and loves being a Kindergarten teacher in Framingham. She has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been at Brophy for 3 years and enjoys coming to work every day to a place where the staff and students are unique and make each day fun! Mrs. Smith speaks Spanish and has experience working with diverse populations of students. She likes that Brophy School is a representative of the real world and knows that the students can learn a lot from each other. Mrs. Smith has a background in ESL, Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences, and differentiated instruction. She believes that each child can be a strong learner and individual, and spends a lot of time in her classroom building relationships and an environment of safety with her students. Throughout the year, parents are invited to the classroom to watch their children in action (celebrations such as 100th day, writers workshop author celebrations, and holidays). In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, exercising, and singing. She is also a die-hard sports fan and follows all Boston and New England teams with great energy!
