Brophy Vision
Brophy Elementary School is committed to working together collaboratively with parents and the community to create a safe and stimulating learning experience where all children reach their highest levels of academic achievement, social competency, and school pride.
Brophy Mission
Brophy Elementary School has a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, a child centered teaching approach, and a highly qualified, dedicated staff. Our focus is to identify individual students strengths and needs and to create learning opportunities that appropriately motivate and challenge our students to perform and achieve their highest potential.
Brophy School has an environment for learning that includes all academic, cultural and social aspects of a student’s education. This learning environment is supported by:

- a community of professionals that is collegial, shares best practices and embraces the community of students and families that the school serves
- an extensive Brophy Values program that focuses on social competencies. Brophy students work hard to be safe, be prepared, be respectful and be responsible. This program in conjunction with our Open Circle program serves to develop student character. There are school-wide expectations for student behavior, expectations and consistent adult language where students demonstrate a sense of responsibility for their own learning and behavior
- an active engagement with the parent community at school as well as partnerships beyond the school that include: Power Lunch!, Framingham State University, Bridgewater State University and Lincoln Sudbury High School.
- the initiation of Grade Level Intervention Meetings (GLIMs) which has resulted in fewer referrals for special education services through targeted academic assistance for struggling students.
