PAT Group

The PAT group stands for Padres Aprenden También (Parents Learn Too).  This is a group specifically for Kindergarten parents who want to learn more about how their child will be learning and developing in a Spanish immersion classroom. 

The group meets at the school in the evening approximately 5 times during the school year to discuss various topics such as how a child acquires a second language, a typical day in the child’s kindergarten class, how the parents and school work as partners to ensure discipline and safety, etc.  

This group provides an opportunity to get to know the other kindergarten parents, build a network of support, and ask questions and discuss concerns that are unique to kindergarten students.
